Sixth Form

Image of an open book.Welcome to Sponne School Sixth Form.  We are a thriving community consisting of around 240 students.  Each year we have the pleasure of welcoming back many Year 11 students, joined by students from other schools, who find that they are entering a friendly and supportive academic environment.

As well as studying for Level 2 and 3 courses, you will play an important role in the wider school and community. There are lots of opportunities to get involved; all Sixth Formers study COPE (a level 3 course that allows you to gain credit for demonstrating wider skills) and we also like you to take part in other extra-curricular activities.

Although most Sixth Formers enter University after their ‘A’ levels, our programme of support prepares you for life after Sixth Form, whether that is employment, a gap year or further education.

Have a very successful year.
