Internet Explorer 8 Users

When accessing the Home-School link web site from a PC with Windows Internet Explorer 8 installed, there are a few steps to complete before you will be able to access your documents.  This is being addressed by our software provider.

When you first click the link to access your My Documents, you will get the following logon box:


Simply enter your usual logon details and click ok.
You will then get the normal Easylink page giving access to your My Documents and Learning Resources.
Clicking on My Documents will open a new Internet Explorer window and another logon box.
Cancel the logon box and copy the URL from the address bar starting from https://   (click image below for an example)


Close that window.
Click the Windows Start button, right click Computer and select Map Network Drive.
Paste the URL you copied into the box marked Folder and click Finish.

This will open Windows Explorer and connect to your My Documents.  You can new copy and paste documents using this drive letter.
