Examination information

Image of a student writing.The Examinations Office administers all the examinations taken by students at the school. Many aspects of the examination system are determined by the regulations of the various examination boards. However, if you have a question or need advice on a particular subject issue, please contact your subject teacher in plenty of time and we will do our best to help.

Examination Results

A level Summer 2010 Results will be available on Thursday 19th August.

A2 Results will be available for collection in person from 8.00am until 10.00am.  If you would like someone to collect them on your behalf please give them a letter of authority, giving them your permission, to bring in on results day. The results will be distributed in the LRC. Please access this via the Admin Reception double doors in order that you can sign in on your arrival.

AS Results will be available for collection in person from 11.00 until 12.00. The same routine as for the A2 results applies.

Any A level results not collected by 2pm on 19th will be posted to the home address we hold on record in school unless you leave a stamped addressed envelope in Admin Reception with an alternative address, before 18th August.

Phone calls to the school for results will be answered between 12.00 and 1.00pm only (01327 350284 extension 500).

GCSE Summer 2010 Results will be available on Tuesday 24th August.

Due to the results being issued by the exam boards 2 days earlier than usual, each student will receive one slip of paper with all the exam boards/subjects/grades on. This results sheet will not show how close the grade is to the grade boundaries, or give marks for individual unit papers. For most students, this will not be an issue, but for those who may be disappointed in their result, or would like to know more detail, you will need to speak to your subject teacher on results day or wait for the exam board paperwork to arrive in school on Thursday 26th August. If you would like your individual results slips after Thursday, please contact the Exams Officer via the link above or leave a phone message on 01327 350284 ext 114.

Year 10 GCSE Results will be available for collection from 11.00 until 12.00. They will be distributed in the LRC, but any not collected will be held in Admin Reception until our return to school the following week, when they will be distributed via form registers. If you wish your results to be posted home, please leave a stamped addressed envelope in Admin Reception before 23rd August.
